DISTRIBUTION PROCESS WORKER SUPERVISOR

To qualify for a Distribution Process Worker Supervisor, WS-6901-06, your qualifications must include:
Per OPM's Job Qualification System for Trades and Labor Occupations, the applicant's experience, education and training must show enough knowledge, skills and abilities to demonstrate the potential to successfully perform the duties of the position. Under this system, how applicants gained their skill and knowledge, or the length of time they have spent in a line of work, are not as important as the fact that they have the required ability or potential to do the job. Position serves as a supervisor over materials handling functions encompassing the full spectrum of warehouse functions, supervising employees either directly or indirectly through subordinate leaders and/or supervisors. Directs employees engaged in receiving, storing, selecting, and assembling for issue, shipment and distribution a variety of materials using mechanized, automated, and manual material moving equipment, devices, and systems. Completed work is evaluated for overall effectiveness and economical use of personnel, equipment, materials and methods to meet production goals and quality standards. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
