Apprentice Mold Maker

We are seeking an Apprentice Mold Maker to join our team at our Tracy, CA plant.
Responsibilities:
Lays out /machines/fits/assembles/and finishes metal parts to make and repair molds for Press & Blow, Blow & Blow Glass Containers.
Studies blueprints of and computes specifications, applying knowledge of shop mathematics and glass molding processes and machinery.
Sets up and operates machines, such as Horizontal Boring Mill, Manual Vertical Mill, Welders, Manual Lathes, CNC, Lathes, Milling Machine.
Use hand tools to assemble mold.
Verifies dimensions, using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and dial indicators.
Qualifications:
Must be willing to complete a 4 year on the job training program and complete a 2 year job related program at a local Community College.
Machine lathe and mill experience would be desirable.
Experience reading blueprints and drawings desirable.
Welding experience desirable.
Needs to be able to use all precision measuring devices.
CNC mill and lathe knowledge is desirable.
High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Automatic CNC mill and lathe knowledge is desirable.
High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Able to work well with others and from verbal instructions under minimal supervision.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
