JOB SUMMARY The HR Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the support of the Human Resources Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for supporting projects and tasks of the Human Resources Department including but not limited to:
Update electronic documents such as job descriptions, department procedures, company policies, employee handbook, new hire orientation, and offer letters.
Upload team member documentation to the HRIS system.
Upload documents to the company's SharePoint sites and design and build new pages as needed.
Support the set-up of new site installations with various tasks including, but not limited to, order supplies and signage, assist with website builds, apply for local ordinance permits, coordinate job fairs, marketing and candidate communications.
Schedule candidate interviews, new hire orientations, on-boarding, and training programs.
Request employee background checks, prepare new hire documentation, load new employee data into timekeeping system.
Reconcile benefit invoices and submit for payment.
Prepare written correspondence on behalf of HR team members as needed.
Prepare hard copy compliance mailings to all company team members as needed.
Build management reporting as needed.
Other Human Resources tasks as required.
EXPERIENCE Strong background in the Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now is helpful, but not required.
Previous experience performing administrative tasks or in an HR Department is helpful, but not required.

WORKING CONDITIONS Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 20-40 hours per week.
Work in a hybrid capacity primarily from home with suitable internet service at the team member's own expense, in an environment that is safe to perform the job, and, when needed as determined by the workflow, on-site at a warehouse facility.
Must be able to lift and carry 15 pounds, unassisted.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee may be required to climb or balance.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
